Breathe, Move, Connect — Outdoors with Forth
Hey Forth community! Eleanor here this week. I know I see you around the studio, but wow have I been enjoying the Friday outdoor classes as well!
There’s something really special about these Friday mornings. The city’s just waking up, the air feels soft, and we’re out there moving and breathing together. What started as a little idea - to offer a free outdoor class on a regular basis - has turned into one of the most grounding, joy-filled parts of my week.
These mornings have reminded me that connection doesn’t have to be complicated. Just show up, breathe, move a little, feel the sun on your face. Keep making space for the quiet stuff - it’s often where the magic lives.
We've got some special surprises in store for you this summer at our outdoor series, and can't wait for our new weekly routine! I have the honor of subbing for Kevin this Friday, I hope to see you there at Unity Park.
What's Inspiring Our Team?
Jamie: "I’ve felt inspired to slow down and pause more often lately. It’s allowed me to gain clarity and is helping me practice more grace towards myself."
Eleanor: "I was lucky to take a public meditation class by Manoj Dias in LA a few years ago, and really enjoy his perspective on meditation in the year of 2025. His recent newsletter resonated with me, particularly the spiraling nature of growth."
Alyssa: "Connecting with others in the fitness/wellness space and getting to collaborate!"
Marina: "As I head into my busiest season, I’m leaning into habits that ground me. Lately, that’s been morning writing, guided by prompts from The Book of Alchemy by Suleika Jaouad. It’s helping me start each day with clarity, intention, and a spark of creativity."
