Embracing the shift

Hey Forth Family! Alan here. I’m excited to be writing to you not only for the first time, but also for the first time as Forth’s Studio Manager. With this new opportunity to support you all, the Spring Equinox on March 20th, and Forth’s 1st Birthday on April 13th, I’ve been reflecting on new cycles of growth.

The Spring Equinox represents balance, light, and transition—an ideal time to reset both body and mind. You can already see the shift in nature with more birds and squirrels making more appearances. The city itself is becoming more alive, and we love seeing you all walking up and down Milwaukee Ave outside of classes. How are you stepping into this new season with intention?

We are four weeks away from our 1st Birthday! Thank you for being on this experimental journey with us. We have a lot of special events planned leading up to a grand birthday celebration on April 13th. If you could throw yourself a 1st Birthday Party, what would you include?

What's Inspiring Our Team

  • Marina has been enjoying the podcast Some Work, All Play for its cheeky humor about endurance running

  • Micah shared that "I’ve been inspired by embracing the cycle of seasons and leaning into the quiet of winter knowing new growth is around the corner"

  • Jamie mentioned "I was fortunate to attend the last into to dj class and learned so much. Can't wait to put my new skills to work this year!"

  • As a business owner now in control of how her business operates. Eleanor has been inspired by Jennifer Armbrust's Proposals for The Feminine Economy. While the book is no longer being printed, this initial talk was what sparked her first interest.
